Dr. Kadir Hemp Essential Cream-Mask For Dry Skin 250 ml
Description
The mask has an extremely rich creamy texture. Gives the skin special softness, has an intense moisturizing and rejuvenating effect. Inhibits the action of MMP, an enzyme that destroys collagen and elastin fibers in the skin. Has high antioxidant activity, increases the protective barrier of the skin. Soothes irritated skin, relieves inflammation.
Hemp (cannabis) oil is a vegetable oil obtained from hemp seeds. Cold-pressed hemp oil is the only vegetable oil that contains more than 80% polyunsaturated fatty acids: linoleic acid (omega-6) and linolenic acid (omega-3).
Hemp seed oil also contains significant amounts of antioxidants, especially polyphenols such as biologically active flavonoids (flavanones, flavanols, and isoflavones) and tocopherols (vitamin E). Hemp oil contains a higher concentration of phenolic compounds than other vegetable oils and exhibits higher antioxidant activity, which prevents oxidative damage caused by free radicals.
Linoleic acid (Omega 6) is an important component for ceramides in the epidermis. Ceramides are a special type of lipids that make up 40 to 50% of the lipids in the stratum corneum of the epidermis. Ceramides are necessary for the proper functioning of the skin barrier.
By supporting the protective function of the skin, essential fatty acids reduce transepidermal water loss and increase the moisture content of the skin.
The rejuvenating effect of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids also help strengthen the skin by inhibiting the activity of MMP enzymes. MMP enzymes break down components of the skin matrix, such as collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid, which support the three-dimensional structure of the skin. Omega-3 fatty acids also reduce the synthesis of various compounds that activate the processes of skin irritation and aging, so they also have a significant rejuvenating effect.
